Circus from Moscow!
A trip to the circus is a celebration! Magic music, bright spotlights and enchanting performances - all thrill children to the bottom of their hearts! Children from our patronised class "Gladiolus" were able to experience this unforgettable feeling of joy, when in early April they visited a performance of the Moscow Circus, "Bravo".

On the breeze!
Within the "Healthy Living" project, pupils from our sponsored specialised school "Zhanuya" visited "Pinocchio" Roller Club. For many of the children skating was not so difficult: some of the boys' and girls' stunts surprised even the experts! Kolya learned to do a snake, for instance, and Rakhim - pivots.

Birthdays at the Gladioli group!
As part of the Healthy Lifestyle project, the children from the sponsored Gladioli group were treated to a Birthday celebration at the end of March. Kolya Khamitov's birthday is 20 March, while Yura celebrates his on 29 March, which is why the fund employees decided to combine the two dates and have one joint celebration.

Donating talent to the delight of the children!
Each month through the "Mereke" project, State Circus performers come to visit sick children and donate their talent - in a literal sense! One of these performances was held in March this year.

Juggler Ivan Berestov performed his act for the children. The conjurer Sarsen Serikpaev not only amazed everyone with his sleight-of-hand, but also turned out to be quite a skilled dancer! The magician made an impromptu performance of the fiery Greek dance Tsirtaki. The illusionist turned a small piece of paper into a 500 tenge note!

Our football team - silver medallists!
In late March, the city of Kostanai hosted the National mini-football championship among athletes with hearing disorders, in honour of the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence.
Our football team "Almaty" was awarded a silver medal in this competition, losing only to the home team.

For more than three years the Foundation has been working with the specialized organization for children with behavioral disorders to try and help the children learn as many new skills as possible. So, between the end of February and beginning of March, the Foundation got to know some very interesting people from the international Art of Life organization

Healthy lifestyle
To make sure the children from the Zhanuya specialized complex learn the life skills they need to lead a more balanced life, the Foundation has organized lessons in how to live a healthy life. At the last session, which coincided with February 23, the Foundation organized a tea morning for the children with cakes, fruit, candy and cookies.

The circus is here!
According to statistics there are more than 44,000 handicapped children in Kazakhstan, of whom about 10,000 have been diagnosed with infantile cerebral paralysis. The children get the medical treatment they need at the Balbulak medical institute over a 26-day period.

On February 22 the Hyatt Hotel played host to the opening of a personal exhibition of professional photographer Luciana Gnone. On the same day Dara Foundation president, Asel Izbasarova held a charity auction with a lot donated by the photographer called "Scars you cannot hide".

What child does not love animals? And, of course, orphaned children, more than any other, are more than ready to love an animal that needs looking after! Foundation employees were pleasantly surprised when they heard how the children had looked after a sick and homeless dog.

Charity Dinner in Indian style
A wonderful Indian style charity dinner was arranged at "Tandoor" restaurant on March 31st of this year by the teachers of Miras International School, which is one of the sponsors of "Mereke" project initiated by "Dara" Foundation.

Fair of Social Ideas and Projects of 2012
VIII Annual Fair of Social Ideas and Projects took place on March 16th of this year at the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was attended by representatives of non-governmental organizations from all over Kazakhstan.

Nauryz holiday at Oncological center
At the threshold of the national holiday Nauryz, our Foundation along with the artists of the State Circus came to congratulate the kids in the Children's Department of Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology.

Here you can financially support our charity projects through electronic payments: Webmoney, Yandex, Pay-Pal and Home Bank.
