Early September was successful for the kids from the city's dedicated institutions. Specially for them Kazakhtelecom in association with PChF Dara provided the respective equipment for two computer classrooms. As a technical assistance the leading telecom operator provided 10 computers to each institution.
Gulnar Dosaeva, the general manager of PChF Dara, said: "Under this project the foundation is acting as a mediator between governmental agencies and companies willing to sponsor". "We express our gratitude to Kazakhtelecom for its participation in the project, and for its active social stand on the issue. Now kids and young people from these institutions have an opportunity to fully master skills at using computers that are essential for their further successful adaptation and socialisation".
Meanwhile Askar Zhumagaliyev, chairman of the Board of Kazakhtelecom, recognised that the company participate in such events because it realises that the new generation of the Kazakhstanis should have good skills at using computers and going online. "This event has a social value for the Kazakh society in general and for the students of these schools in particular", - said Mr. Zhumagaliyev.
Today the kids from the Dedicated Institution to Educate Children with Deviant Behaviour and the Centre for Adaptation of Graduates of Social Institutions of Almaty City "House of Youth - Zhastar Uyi" master skills at using computers, and many of them have already become active Internet users. Young people learn computer programmes, which will be useful to them in the future.
